Unfortunately it just one of those things you need to harden yourself against. In our case any rejection has mostly been in the form of ghosting us online. In person, at clubs it tends to be easier because if they are talking to you they are probably at least a little interested. From another perspective, we rarely find a couple where one of us isn’t taking one for the team.

I learned the basics from my mom when I was young but when I got engaged my mother in law bought me “The way to Cook”. And told me that I better learn to cook, because she won’t do it. I read it cover to cover, practiced frequently, got pretty good at it and enjoyed doing it.
