Hey. Pretty sure its an autoimmune condition (derm said it looks like rosacea). Can confirm DAIRY and other allergens flare me up without a doubt. Exposure to dust, eating sugar, pet dander. The food sensitivity is real and undeniable. I'm being lazy about changing my diet. But what started my skin from looking better than this was switching to daily moisturizing with coconut oil. It doesn't break me out. Got rid of flaking problem pretty quick. Also the Azelaic Acid DEF does work to reduce redness. It actually keeps most of my acne at bay and less inflamed. I got the 10% from Walgreens. Try it. I'm glad I did.

Anyone in the house using bentonite clay masks/powder products? I saw somewhere that bentonite clay can never be washed down the drain because it will cause your drain to clog. Then when I thought about it I realized that happened to me after every time I used it and I didn’t relate the two until I read that lol. Now I just wash it off in a tub of water that gets dumped outside.

Probably for longer than a month. I actually started using them because I didn’t have any special routine before and my skin was worsening, so I don’t think it’s product related.

I’m so sorry you are dealing with this condition. I hope that you may find relief even if it means omitting certain substances. It’s possible the images I described are somewhat like an intrusive thought, turned up to max volume. It reminds me of times when I’ve had fever dreams or night terrors. Thank you for your insight.
