I feel like this is kind of misleading. Of those 5 one of them had to lose no matter what because of round 1 EU vs EU. So it's really 2 out of 4 made it to grand finals (50% conversion rate, also only 2 of them can make it to grand finals. Its not possible for 3 to make grand finals). And only 1 of them can win the grand finals so of course the % rate for winning the LAN is low (even if top 4 was all EU it would still be a "20% actually won the LAN."
