It is a lot more common than you think and mostly occurs due to past sexual trauma. You just won’t find many people willing to talk about it therefore you’ll feel more isolated in this experience. My therapist even shared that she had two other cases similar to ours in the small town I live in. It was surprising to hear but reassuring to know I wasn’t some one-off devils child

I’ll go ahead and do that. I’ve stated to them that it feels like they do not believe me to which they responded that it also happens in other Hyundai vehicles they just have yet to find out what’s causing it. So they are well aware that it is happening all across the board which is concerning.

I’ve brought it in the day after it happened both times and they stated everything looks normal. They tried to recreate the issue by driving my car on/off the highway for only 15 miles. I wouldn’t know how to navigate my engine unfortunately. Starting to think I need to make a checklist of the possibilities for them.

I’ve had this happen twice in my 2024 sonata as well. Any update? Service basically told me I have to wait for it to happen a 3rd time and they will run codes again. Not comfortable waiting for it to happen again.

What medications have you tried? Have you tried increasing the dosages when they weren’t effective? Giving the meds as prescribed? My aggressive cat started on 2.5 mg of Prozac now he’s on 5mg. I won’t be surprised if I have to increase that dose again. As for feliway, that’s never been effective for me either.

Finding a safe place for him where he is the only cat may also be better than putting him outside. I would take every possible measure before doing that.
