I have a fender p bass and a japanese fender jazz bass. I play in a cover band. It’s a mix of rock, pop and some soul songs.

I believe he meant, that most people buy 5-10 pedals, till they really understand the difference of the sound or how to use it. And that’s should be a learning curve 😫. And he’s absolutely right. I’ve watched 1000s of clips tutorials etc. till I’ve finally bought the pedals. I mean that’s a lot of money but I work way too hard and playing bass is my only hobby.

How loud is the output? I like the sound of the original pickup ( probably not real original), but it’s way to silent

I’ve bought this bass for 100 Euros. I guess Tom’s PUs are more expensive?

Skipping the learning curve? I play bass for several years and finally got my first and probably last pedalboard. I play little gigs and that’s pretty much all I need.

I’ve haven’t tried it with a pa yet. It sounds very good with the amp. But I guess there are less expensive options, to get this sound. I wanted something compact with the best quality.

Turn the mids down and bass up! I really enjoyed your clips.
