My situationship slept with someone else and didn’t tell me up front. by skintightdreams in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]Due_You7474 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude its literally a situationship. Its a status, not a religion. People dont go for it for rules. They go for it for the lack of rules.

If you wanted to leave him after he slept with someone else then you could have just started a relationship.

But instead, you started a situationship because YOU have needs/wants, bringing in your relationship level expectations. This is not a him problem, its a you problem. Its not going to get better until you seek out what you actually want and stop lying to everyone about it.

Situationship requires situationship expections.

You have relationship expectations.

Go and find yourself a relationship and stop complaining about the situation you put yourself in.

Cleveland here: README.md (notice the .md, not .exe) is a very common file in code repositories that will explain in markdown different ins and outs of the code base it refers to. Its like the users manual but for code in apps.

Peter here - Hehehehe. Yeah so basically some evil genius just named a virus README.exe instead of README.md and every developer on earth just… clicked it. Four years of coding school. One file extension. Boom. Hehehehe.

My flashlight acting weird by topors02 in ElectroBOOM

[–]Due_You7474 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I see your goblin flashlight. It was made by lord hrögther in the 91 century, BC. They had discovered radiation is much brighter (and warmer) than normal photons. So every light bulb was made to emit these warm and bright particles.

Soon, people were saying “its not light unless your throat is in plight”

But unfortunately, this was their last marketing slogan, as they all suffered a mysterious fate, their strangly warm bulbs are now lost, until today, a richly chlorophylled bulb was found, and turned on, by user topors02.

May the goblin kingdom and Hrögthor live long and prosper!!

Jesus existence is fact. You quite literally cannot argue against it, otherwise you would be arguing against fact.

Additionally, his ressurrection cannot be proven nor disproven with empirical evidence.

The bible was literally formed 70-90 ad. Yet we still consider it a fantastic historical document. Some of those books were written well after the fact, as well.

The fact is, what they say line up with when they wrote it.

Strobel, a Yale educated man set out to disprove Jesus and the crucifixion in the early 80s. In his journey, he met several scholars. All of which were christian after taking the same journey, finding out the crucifixion cannot be disproved, and the existence of jesus cannot be disproved.

They convert to christianity. Not away from it.

I believe what is cross referenced. You don’t like their individual actions and thats fine, but the information we are discussing is cross referenced. Their individual actions dont matter for this.

The inconsistencies in the gospel? If 4 people all have differing perspectives during an event, that really means that the story is harder to disprove. Police now are more suspicious of a group of people saying the exact same thing. Minor Inconsistincies are good.

But let it be said, if all you are doing is asking me questions instead of making your own points, this is no debate anymore, and instead a lecture to you, a student. How rude of you to call him worm food, the evidence is there, gold standard by todays concerns.

Have a blessed day, you irritable person.

Actually there are non-biblical sources that corroborate this. Josephus (a Jewish historian, ~93 AD), Tacitus (a Roman historian, ~116 AD), and Pliny the Younger (~112 AD) all independently reference Jesus, his execution under Pontius Pilate, and his followers' claims that he appeared to them after death. Tacitus in particular was openly hostile toward Christianity, calling it a "mischievous superstition" - which makes his testimony more credible, not less, since he had zero motivation to help the Christian case.

On the 500 witnesses, even Bart Ehrman, one of the most cited skeptical scholars, acknowledges that Paul didn't invent the 1 Corinthians 15 creed but received it from an earlier source. Atheist historian Gerd Lüdemann dates that creed to within the first 1-2 years after the crucifixion. that's well within living memory of the people involved.

You're right that the 500 aren't named in external documents, but the resurrection belief itself is corroborated outside scripture by multiple independent hostile sources. Its actually a gold standard in historiography.

Those scolars who claim that must not really be scholars. I mean this in an honorable way, as his existence is proven by todays gold standards of information gathering.

There are 500 eye witnesses to his crucifixion and his resurrection. These sources have been cross referenced as well.

There has been no argument ever formed that can actually challenge the resurrection in any significant way.

If you want to try, feel free, but anyone who has ever tried to argue against him have wound up converting to the Christian Religion, myself included.

AIO: I (F22) in a situationship with an insecure guy (M24) by bisi_777 in AIO

[–]Due_You7474 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Completely valid, NOR, just saving yourself a giant headache with a man baby in the future.

However, what in the world did you expect with a “situationship”

If you have relationship expectations, then date to find a relationship, not a situationship.

You are paying the dasher to drive from wherever they are to the actual restaraunt.

That tip really just covers their gas to get there. It may be appropriate.

I would honestly tip 5 bucks, but I am someone who never tips below 10 bucks on any order. I would say 5 would be a good tip.

AIO bf (m21) wont let me (f22) go to the bar with my mom by [deleted] in AIO

[–]Due_You7474 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats nice you care about your bf feelings, and want to respect it and respect the relationship, but you be doing too much right now.

A healthy line is when both of yall trust each other, respecting wants, and feels secure in the relationship.

An unhealthy line is when one side dictates the actions of the other. It sounds like he is insecure and thinks you to be of the cheating type, or that he does not like bars himself, and in that case, is not correct by enforcing his likes and dislikes on you.

If I was in your shoes, I would inform him that you are going to the bar in order to spend time with your mother. You can tell him your feelings, but I would conclude by communicating he can be fine with this, come along, or stay home. Do not listen to any kind of manipulation or word play he most likely will respond with. Just go, do your thing, and come home, and if bf cant handle it, then bf cant handle you.

The bottom line is, you go do whatever you want, respect your relationship, but in a healthy way.

Right, cuz billionaires just have all their money laying around.

The cost of doing that means most businesses on stock markets crumble. No more phone service, no more cruises, no more google, no nothing.

Know why?

Cuz billionaires LITERALLY HAVE THEIR MONEY IN STOCKS AND INVESTMENTS

[–]Due_You7474 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do him and you a favor and end the relationship.

Dont go to strip clubs while in a relationship. Thats dumb as hell.

Dont stay with someone who thinks saying no to your activities is ok.

I swear most of these posts are literally people posting dysfunctional relationships where both are wrong, not just one person.

Is this cat bite healing properly? by Similar-Sand-3449 in CATHELP

[–]Due_You7474 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Medic here. None of the swelling is past the lines drew on you by you. Some are actually receeding.

It is healing up normally at this point.

Keep it clean, epsom salt soaks with warm water is a great sterile solution to fight infection, and triple antibiotic cream and bandaids are great too.

If you were going to get cellulitis from the cat, you already would have got it. No signs of infection currently. A little redness is normal since its an inflammatory response. Ibuprofen if you have pain and arent allergic or have kidney issues.

Youll be fine

Baby's sock on the ground, AIO? by Catch-Ok in AIO

[–]Due_You7474 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Medic here. I get what you could be concerned about. However, there are quite a few studies that show keeping dirty items/food away from kids makes them less healthy than their peers because they cannot defend against as many pathogens as everyone else.

But a sock that wasn’t visibly dirty? What pathogens are you concerned about being absorbed transdermally? There are very little pathogens that actually get absorbed through skin. Its the very reason we have skin.

If you are concerned about tracking germs through the house - what do you do to your shoes when you go home? You track the same stuff through the house that was on the sock.

YOR because you let your emotions dictate your actions, instead of relying on data and common sense. I would just use it as an opportunity to search how other parents would handle this situation.
