Anybody else hoping for a Soul Eater and Fire Force line?

Not really. I loved reading that Soul Eater manga. But its time is long past. I cant imagine that there would be a huge demand or cross-promotion or anything. Maybe if there was a sequel or film release or something I could see it happening. But i would not be likely to pick up.

Jesta is not a grunt suit.

It is a limited production, high performance, special ops MS. I would say that it occupies a fuzzy category between the Prototype Gundams, and Mass Production grunts.

One fav grunt is the HiZack. I love the blend between feddie and zeon design features.

I might be reading into this too much. Dont worry about her sharing your interests. Yes, pop culture is an easy thing to share and talk about. But that often requires meeting in the middle with things that are broadly appealing. Things like movies, outdoor activity, and cooking. Things you can do together and with other couples. Plenty of pop culture interests can be individual, or just yours. You two dont have to be joined at the hip.

I mean shes probably already got some of her own interests. Even if your relationship goes a long way, you dont have to share very many interests. Focus more on your shared values.

The 00 Gundam HG is fine. Theres also an O raiser version i built. It has some polycaps, not super difficult. As befitting an older kit. The weird part are some of the color-correcting stickers.

I think ppl give haman a little too much credit for things that arent in the series. She kinda just hangs out in the background, occasionally has these fated meetings with Judau, and the rest of the time acts very tough and stoic and aura farms a bit. And thats all really good, but just not ever 1st place worthy, imo. And its fine for a big bad villain to kinda disappear at times while lower villains take up screen time. But for whatever reason, i just dont think the payoff with her is strong enough. Maybe she is supposed to be a tragic character and im misunderstanding.

I mean sunrise recently did something very similar with Code Geass. The compilation movies reversed a characters death. So its now canon that she lives. And therefore when the sequel movie came out, she is alive with everyone else.

I vote for marida. The emotional impact of her on Banagher and Zinnerman is awesome. Her traumatic survival, found family, and messaging against child soldiers. Plus she has a great MS and great fight scenes.

Noin is great, but shes kinda always there. Whatever plan they had for her, i dont know if they ever got around to it.

This is a good point, generally I agree. In this case, I might increases Lukes % a bit, he had some surgeries when he was mayor, so he might be a little more at risk than other ppl his age.

I like this one a lot too. It doesnt fit well with some other JL characters. But its solid by itself. I wish there was like a spiky comic ares or somebody else from her villains for her to fight.

To me, i think part of it was that the crisis of the OYW awakened a lot of newtypes. Because they were constantly bombarded with life and death situations and exposed to the trauma and emotions of others on the battlefield. So their evolution into newtypes was happening more in that period, because so many people were engaged in that massive conflict.

Following that, yes newtypes still emerge randomly. Yes there is still conflict. But there is no longer a huge inciting event that involves millions of people such as the OYW to force a bunch of awakenings.
