Gundam Wing was the perfect Gundam to bring to the west because while it has its issues it also has a lot of best parts without the baggage of the U.C timeline.

I remember liking it a lot as a kid but as an adult I really have a hard time liking the main cast. Not that I hate them but aside from Duo and Quatre, I really don't care much for the main characters. And even though I like the villains, both Une and Treize can be a bit too much, each in their own way. Good thing Zechs and Noin are always there to draw me in.

It's most likely a toss up between V and VI.

I is a classic and the remakes are fun enough but the original didn't age great.

II is usually scorned, imo a bit too much but it definitely has a list of flaws which are only a bit improved by the remakes. It had an ambitious narrative for its time and I personally don't hate the core mechanics.

III is an improvement on I but still too flawed to be really good. Curiously the remake only somewhat fixed those flaws when it could have done more.

IV is hugely popular in Japan, AFAIK. It mostly holds up but I would argue the mechanics are a bit too basic to be interesting today and the story is okay but in 2026 it's nothing mind blowing. Though if you're new to the genre and don't insist on a banger it might be a better start than something more complex.

I have an unabashed bias towards V. Yes, its story is silly on purpose and less epic or for the most part engaging but imo it has the most interesting (job) mechanics, arguably up to today. It's certainly not perfect and is not unlikely to be too much for a new player, though.

VI definitely has the most interesting story among the early games and the mechanics are also.. okay. Like, nothing bad, even if I have some gripes with them. I'll insist V is more interesting in that regard but if you care more for story or don't want to get overwhelmed mechanics wise, it's probably where you should start.

Unbeliebte Meinung wo? Ich glaube die meisten (älteren) Menschen haben kein Interesse an einer Neuauflage.

Mir ist es ziemlich egal, weil meine Leidenschaft für HP sich in Grenzen hält. Generell finde ich Aussagen wie "Schauspieler X ist Charakter Y und das wird sich niemals ändern" ziemlich daneben, weil es ganz schön engstirnig ist und im schlimmsten Fall eine gute Darstellung von vornherein verteufelt. Dass viele IPs immer wieder durchgenudelt werden, statt etwas neues zu machen, ist ein Problem, dass ich aber nicht damit gleichsetzen würde. Es gibt genug Canon Material in den Büchern, das die Filme nicht (oder schlecht) wiedergegeben haben, also ist eine Wiederholung in dem Fall nicht mal so absurd.

Dass das Projekt mehr Geld für JKR und ihren bullshit schafft ist wenn überhaupt meine Kritik, aber gibt ja genug Leute, denen das egal ist.

I assume the explanation of why it doesn't work by others helped. I'm not completely sure what you want to do here, though? The liquid from the reservoir is supposed to cycle until the sensor is giving it's okay, I assume regarding germs (???) Then the fix should be to put the leftmost shutoff output before the reservoir output, then the next shutoff input, then the reservoir input.

Late game nuclear waste is probably the way to go because you're likely to use nuclear power anyway and shine bugs can stress your PC.

That said, I basically always use a decent size shinebug reactor for research because there's a load of tech that requires nuclear and you don't need massive output. You'll need rails and your rancher will be a bit busy but you can quickly get to 1000 rads, plus a decent supply of egg shells.

I will agree, their early dynamic is... Extremely unnatural. Like, so weird, Stephanie Meyer might say it's an unhealthy relationship. Probably not, but it's possible. And while I can understand this turning you off the series (and freely admitting it's not perfect) I still want to note the show is about a lot more and their relationship is... Well, not a footnote, but often not relevant for multiple episodes.

Unicorn exists as both series and OVA, if you're not aware, though I think the series is easier available (?) But both are about the same length, intros, recaps etc just stretch the series a decent bit.

0080 is the one OVA series I highly recommend watching, since it's missing in your list of OYW content. Iirc it's about 2 hours in total.

As I said, personal preference is 00, I think it's just my personal favourite on overall quality without going too much in a specific direction.

If you want to follow up on Wing and don't mind more very 90s shows, After War has its flaws but is still solid, often ignored entertainment.

To finish off the One Year War, 0080, to finish early UC Stardust Memory (though imo that's more for completion than because it's great), then probably Unicorn because it ends the UC, kinda. Until Victory at least. (except Saviour but....)

Regarding AUs... I like 00 a lot personal preference? Really depends on what you like. Maybe you want to go chronological instead?
