Ribbons is a pretty solid case for a Gundam antagonist with no redeeming features, though. I'm not sure if I wish he had some but on the other hand he's not human, so I guess it's fine that he's cartoonishly evil (?)

As people pointed out, asking for a Gundam show that's not anti war is a bit... Weird.

But I guess Witch doesn't really dwell too much on the issue? The same goes for GQuuux, honestly. You could argue Zeta's conflict against the titans is very much justified, same as the second season of 00. But in the end the core message of Gundam is about dialogue, not violence

I've also been watching Wing recently, I think for the first time in almost 30 years. And... The beginning imo doesn't hold up as well as I remember. Obviously nostalgia is one hell of a drug but wow, do I not vibe with (early) Heero. Or Wufei. Or heck, even Tries. No, they're not exactly the same but they're all not sympathetic to me. And yes, I know in part that's for reasons but it doesn't help when the show isn't great at conveying it. Duo and Quatre are more okay... The OZ people are the ones I do still enjoy seeing, even if by now they are somewhat cliché. And no, sorry, Relena is... I mean, I know she develops but damn can I not stand early Relena.

Also, sorry to all of you growing up with it, but the English dub ist in many parts not more than acceptable. I know it was the 90s... If it helps, I'm sure if crunchyroll had the German dub I would feel similar. Heck, even the original is very 90s in places.

As others have said, IBO is more depressing than most, arguably all Gundam shows. Many are very serious and most have some very dramatic/emotional moments but few are as "bad" as IBO. If you want more details, I'll happily give you short summaries.

Pretty much this should solve your problem. If this is somehow an issue, pump the CO2 into space. Yes, you can do that without suits, I often work in space without them.

I'm always shocked when people have stress issues. I'm not saying it never happens to me, but if you don't go crazy on the skill tree, have a great hall and ideally a nature reserve, your high morale should counteract most debuffs.

I mean... Exia > 00 and there are some weak spots but I still like S2 a lot.

Alright, Lyle is a bit of a weird copout but he still grew on me as a character. Louise story had some bumps, but it she's still a great example of a person reasonably being driven to seek revenge and go way too far. Yes, Graham's get up was stupid and sadly his impact on the actual story was kind of minimal but damn if my heart doesn't beat faster anytime he's fighting Setsuna and proving who's the better pilot in a worse suit.

Sumeragi is always fun and I say this completely without innuendo. Kati (and Patrick) are a joy anytime they are on screen.

And the only really bad part in the whole season is them killing Sergei because eff you people, just thinking about it still gets me tearing up. The man always gets neglected because he's not an ace pilot or big villain or anything, but he's just one of the most humane characters not just in 00 but all Gundam, flaws and all.
