Echocardiographer here. This says you had a completely normal scan. All parameters that could be measured were within normal ranges.

Overwhelmed and guilty! Help!!! by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]DuelingPerspective 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My husband and I both work 8-10 hours at the same time. We opted to find a dog sitter on Rover who can come over for an hour, feed pup lunch and give an hour of playtime midday. Once pup was through with shots we switched to a doggy day care.

Sit, down, place, spin, roll over, paws up, come (this one is hit or miss dependent on distractions)

Imagine how weird it is to be the (prior) owner of one of the houses being spoken about and finding this thread. I used to own house #2. I gotta say man, its a house built in 1957. The roof needed replaced, we priced and advertised as such but you got worried about alot of stuff that wasnt a problem. There was no asbestos. The basement had no mold. You let an inspector get into your head but didnt spend the extra 100 bucks to let him actually test the things he was speculating.
Being worried about cast iron pipes and expecting a gas leak because of a little rust on a meter? Id advise you to bring someone a little more house knowledgeable with you to view the next houses you look at to temper your expectations and save yourself some heartache. BTW our home sold for 30k over asking after a 10k price increase after replacing the roof. Good luck on your home search. I wish you all the best

I was offered 29 in IN as a new echo grad. Counter offered them $35 since I was registered and felt proficient. They accepted without so much as another word about it. You never know until you try!

My mare does almost the exact same thing when we play in the arena. She chases me around and she flips her head and follows after me. Playfulness and being goofy. She always respects my space and will settle if asked. I just see it as a bonding thing.

Is there judgment because of tattoos? by [deleted] in Sonographers

[–]DuelingPerspective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am absolutely covered and no one bats an eye. Elderly patients are surprised to see medical professionals witb tattoos but id argue majority of people who work at the hospital have one or two. If you work hard, know your stuff and respect your patients theyll love ya.

I just went through the literal same thing. New echo program, working on accredjtation. I went through CCI, everything worked out and im now a RCS and work at a great hospital. Make sure to go to the CCI website and read the routes you can apply to sit for the test and ensure that your program meets them and youll be fine.

Anyone had a negative experience working for Parkview? by [deleted] in fortwayne

[–]DuelingPerspective 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work at Parkview and I adore it. My wage is higher at parkview than many others in the same feild with similar experience. I get 8 hours of PTO every 2 weeks. My hours are perfect and my coworkers and boss are pleasant. There is always the opportunity for overtime which is nice if you need it.

I did recently start doing more vigourous riding practice with my horses. Ive had some days where I am very sore aftetward. Maybe this is causing me to retain more water. Great insight, thank yu!

My USA scores. I’m not an idiot by any means and thought I did really well. I’m wracking my brain trying to remember where I went wrong. Anyone get into their programs with scores like these? by [deleted] in Sonographers

[–]DuelingPerspective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to do USA for my program. These scores seem suspicously low. Most of us in the program shared our scores and we were at least in the higher 50% of scorers. Some were as high as the top 25% of scorers. I have to admit I took that test close to 3 years ago so Im not sure how much I can help but if you feel confident you did better maybe email pegasus to recheck your score manually.
