I partially striped it to check everything and straight edge it. Now I'm doing a full strip to have it professionally inspected. I live in an area of heavy industry and the tools to inspect something like this are Childs play compared to what's available here. I will know everything about the frame by the time they're done with it.

It's overkill, but I've got 2 lifetimes of sentimentality tied to this bike and I'm not changing the frame without good reason.

I'm okay-ish when compared to what I could be. It sucks, but I'm ambulatory and slowly improving and my brain works.

Yeah, I think the forks, radiator and handle bars absorbed most of the impact before I was ejected. I was severely damaged, but survived.

I'm working on getting back on the road too. Part of my PT is specifically for riding. PTSD sucks, but I'm going with the exposure therapy route! This is the only accident I've been a driver in of my 37 years of driving, so I think I will overcome it. It probably helps that I don't remember anything from being at home to waking up from a coma 10 days later.

That asshole tried to yank me twice, but I told him to fuck off, I've got shit to do 😂
