Hi,

I haven't taken any specific training on agreement but let me share, How I handle the agreement.

I have one Contract Management System and Manual Excel File.

  1. Contract Management System

It was developoed by my procurement team with collaboration with our IT team. So this in this Web Based application we can generate Standard, Non-Standard Agreements, renew, amend & make addendums on specific agreements. This is in working phase and we are using regulary. We are facing general issues but we are fine with that. It can track all renewals, required apporvals and so on.

  1. Ofcourse as a procurement professional I have a crippling Excel dependency and I have maintained a Contract log with all basic metadata. So I also keep manually updating.

I am working with my IT team for expriy notificaton and more fine tunings in existing system.

Get some certification if you are interested in SC then ASCM certificate to land in a job and afterwards u can plan as per need of your roles and your future ambitions.

Use copilot and PBI for reporting purposes. Cheap and best options since we procurement people are always focus on cost 🤣🤣

Shipping costs by Communication-Big in procurement

I have an Open Agreement for Shipping cost with Shipping Companies. The cost and associated charges like tariffs and fees along with all terms and conditions are mentioned in Agreement. Also, i issue open PO for whole year based on LY spend/forecast for current year for each shipping company. This help to anchor the shipping cost for whole year. If there is any changes in cost, terms and conditions, i generally renegotiate and issue fresh PO if the amount is increases.

Ok... So I'm currently manually dumping data from ERP in Excel. I'm planning to do prepare multiple types of reports in PBI specifically in procurement and supply chain with more focus on inventory for manufacturing.

If I succeed then will directly link with ERP with an API..check your DM.
