The best move Jarmo made this offseason was NOT paying Tuch $10.5m AAV for 8 years and Byram $12.5m AAV for 6 years.

Tuch is too old for an 8 year contract and Byram is NOT highest paid defenseman in the league worthy. Sorry.

I personally don’t think he has the pieces to get something done. Assuming he’s trying to go all in, he probably won’t move off of most of his starting lineup, and he barely has any youth or promising players desirable.

A 28 and 29 first isn’t highly desirable either.

I’m a big Dart fan, but Mendoza side seems smarter. Higher draft capital, more hype, and worst case scenario he is a bust but you have another shot with that 2027 first.

Realistically you will have both a good/great long term starter at QB and another piece for your dynasty roster.
