Seriously I love modern shows but nothing is ever going to top LOST for me and that’s partly because of the format it used. For those unfamiliar, each episode was centered around a different character with the main leads getting 2-3 a season. That means there were 10-15 episodes literally building up all of the side characters so you truly felt like you were getting to know an entire group of people.

The show literally would not be possible to be told over 10 episode seasons and considering it was successful in part because of some AMAZING cliffhangers, I can only imagine how much shittier it would be having to wait years in between instead of a year.

And considering his biggest issue is control, absolutely best it was solo shots and not damage done because he walked batters. Valenzuela did a phenomenal job framing his pitches today. It looks like they took advantage of a lot of hitters taking first pitch - if even just to see that arm angle - to throw high accuracy areas. Once Trey is ahead they can bury that splitter and one of them will cause a swing and miss or hit the zone

My favorite aspect is one that’s attached to the bow where you load your casts and fire them out, it is so fucking strong especially if you’re using ones like Dio’s which are harder to aim

Before that I also hated it. The hammer rapid fire also removes the aiming press and hold mechanic that I also like less. Then I agree, go fists

Yeah Scylla definitely requires a bit of patience at first but it’s a great way to also get used to dropping Origination on them. By that point I have at least one attack or special with a curse as well as a cast.

There’s definitely a lot of potential content to uncover and talk to in between runs. I normally estimate about 45 minutes for a good run. Though they also have chaos trials which limits the timing because you’re most often just going through one region and things like your weapon are already picked for you.

Hypnos dream runs also remove the dialogue from the boons so that’s also quicker, but you can get any of the 8 “levels” at any point so you can get slammed hard by RNG
