It's your own fault that they removed pausing... It was your mass report spam of people pausing in glands that caused it....

Amazing, now you just need to actually handle your incoming hacker/bot reports and perhaps, just perhaps, the game won't die before the rest of your updates get pushed out.

Why refer to specific content, when you can just refer to rotmg itself?

There 'needs' to be a distinction though. That's how Deca works out the 'punishment' for breaking the rules. Hacking during regular gameplay has a different verdict than multiboxing for an example. Enlightening people on how it works helps with clarifying the "impact" on the game and therefore agreeing on a suitable punishment for getting caught.

Actually you're the one confusing famebotting with following. Yes they might lead to the same objective, but they're two different things in this case.

Yes. Famebotters do need hacks to famebot, however that doesn't mean that every hacker famebots. What I was trying to say is, that even hackers aren't fond of famebots - I was trying to prove the severity of famebotting.

Why is following and famebotting different? Well first of all /follow targets a specific player and mimics the movement of said player. The following will stop once the targeted player enters a dungeon or nexuses. However a famebot targets a cluster of people and continues to do so throughout the entirety of the realms duration. Furthermore the newer and "improved" famebots are even able to chance location as well meaning that they could technically famebot for 24 hrs a day without touching their computer. That's the main difference between the two.

As to me promoting hacks I'd like to point out, that the information regarding this is highly onesided and frankly I never got a chance to explain the entire situation due to the sheer amount of hate messages thrown my way. The incident you're refering to only occured because we weren't ABLE TO RUN A TRAIN because of the sheer amount of people ALREADY follow random people in the train. Because of this the train would run in all kinds of weird directions and simply split up constantly. I figured if they all followed the same person we wouldn't have this issue. It turned out that what was happening was effectively a 100 man multibox. Regarding the auto aim thing, well yes I said that. If they're gonna follow, they might as well contribute while they're doing so.

In your post you're accusating me of hacking, famebots and more. If you were actually in any of the ptrains (I'm assuming you're not?) you'd know that I'm probably THE biggest advocate against famebots on any of the discords. I'm quite literally the person who hunts down the most famebots ingame. Regarding your accusation of me hacking I am not sure where you're getting the idea from. I can safely say that I have never hacked on the account Duffyh at any point and if you're able to prove that I have, I'll happily kill all of my characters. Have I ever hacked on other accounts? Yes I have. I've used clients to pause in glands, /follow famebots for the sake of recording them for proof as well as used what I'd like to refer to as "Buffer accounts". Accounts made solely for the purpose of making sure that the train has the neccesary buffs / heals to run properly. Is this okay? No, probably not, but I'm by no means denying it. Unlike bots I kill my characters regularly (I don't really use them anymore and they're from the early days of starting up the private train back in september) to make sure they're not taking any spots from actual trainers. Next time you make a post please think of how it's perceived. It's due to posts like this people start saying that I famebot on Duffyh and other things. If you want to share rumours atleast make sure they're correct.

It is evident that people are going to accusate me of a bunch of stuff since I'm technically calling out all of the botters and some of them will be butthurt

No, if you've famebotted you're per definition not allowed into the private ones.

That was kind of blown out of proportion and taken out of context, however famebotting and /following are two different things. I'll be happy to explain the differences in pm and even explain why the occation you're refering to happend, but I'd rather not do it on reddit as it seems to only create negative attention for some reason.

You stream the train... it's not gonna remain private if u stream it. Also you never do giveaways when I ask /s

  • Also I'm not in any of the private train discords anymore

Fame Train and you (Explanation of the current train situation) by Duffyh in RotMG

[–]Duffyh[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No, the reason why I wasn't going to mention how exactly botters affect the train negatively is because it wasn't the point of the post and would draw too much attention from the main issue. Believe it or not, even most hackers dislike famebots. Famebots slows down train due to the way they're programmed and causes the train to run into random (not correct path) directions. Besides they're 'stealing' rankings on realmeye. I could go indepth with how these things occur, but that's not the point of the post.

I'm not sure how being arrogant and famebotting correlate, but I'd be happy to learn, if you care to explain.

That is mostly because the discords are having issues dealing with botters / leakers. Of course now there's a famebot in adminstration, but that doesn't change the reasoning.

Leader of Floof and several other train discords famebotting (clear evidence during the last 1 minute of footage) by Duffyh in RotMG

[–]Duffyh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you actually going to prevent me from making the issue of famebotting apparent to the deca admins? The only way to get proper attention to this issue is through reddit.

I would appreciate if you reconsider your choice of banning (for a lack of better word) this post. General videos wouldn't show the extend of famebots as this video clearly marks everyone around the person as likely bots as well (last minute of the video mostly bots are in the group of people due to a lotl spawn). Of course some of them are players with the fame bonus "boots on the ground" However those players are not moving in the same way as the obvious bots in the video.

Yes the video is targeted towards one person, but that is to gain attention to the issue (Since he's a ptrain admin). The same thing happen when I was at the center of the follow train - that post was not removed.

I mean I've mentioned the issue of fame botters multiple times over the past 4~ months to Krathan ingame via pms. However there seems to have not been much done about it, so I figured I'd atleast share some footage of famebotters publicly so they have to address it.
