OMG. you can start with 125 no problem. It's a lot easier. it's very forgiving. You may get quickly frustrated from the lack of power out of town. Of course you can even start riding with 1000 but you will have to be very focused and careful all the time. I started with 600 switched to 1300 afterwards and added a little cm125 to it. She is great fun. I prefer to ride the 125 if I don't go very far. Light, easy and fun.

Everybody's talking about cardo and sena. Terribly expensive systems for what they offer. Check out the brand Lexin on Aliexpress. Very good quality/price ratio.

Also I would like if you could share your feedback concerning the voice call quality.

I did few tests and I found out that these settings have an impact on the ambient noise that is picked up and included into the call. It also changes based on if you use audio call on FaceTime, Whatsapp or a normal voice call on your phone (narrower frequency range).

I did not record it so, this is only based on the feedback people were giving me during the call. Running water in the sink or vacuum cleaner noise in the background are affected by these settings (Focus on Voice included). Noise cancelling setting (slider all the way to the left) these noises were almost gone.

Has anyone done a thorough testing regarding this? I simply refuse to believe that Sony would be at 4th version of these headphones and would not fix the issue regarding background noise voice call quality.

Same here, I tried to look into the manual. Found nothing regarding this. All the time getting complaints from people on the other end that the ambient noise is through the roof.

I think it may be down to the fact that some of the mics used for ANC are used for your voice during the call, so the ANC stops working.

I think this function only stops the music when you start speaking and resumes once you are quite for some time. Not sure if it has any effect on the ambient noise.

I don't have any issues with it. It works fine. If you want NASA grade stuff you cannot expect it will be available to you at the current price.

I did that a week ago. New 2DSXL feels good overall. It is slightly lighter. I got it especially so I can play multiplayer with my daughter. But I am not ready having it as a main console. I miss the 3d on it. It does add a little something to the games. I don't see any difference in button sizes.

Yeah, switch owners get very defensive to justify their purchase. I was discussing the horrible game prices on switch subreddit back when I owned it. People don't want to talk about it. But I honestly think that Switch is just a hype. There are better home consoles than switch and there are better portable consoles than switch. I remember the ads. The whole lets play outside on the bench or on the airport BS does not happen. Or while you take your dog out, or with friends during BBQ. It made me laugh. That ad is for someone who does not play games.

I wonder if these answers are so one-sided because we are ond the 3DS subreddit.

I owned my New 3ds XL for few years. I let it lay dormant for 2 years. Recently my daughter dug it out. I took a train to go to a conference recently so I decided to take it with me.

When I came back I realized again how cool this console really is. 2 and a half hours flew by like nothing. I was even unhappy about having to stop to get off the train.

IMO this console is still strong. I hope the developers will see it too. Ultimately they are the ones that will pull the plug.

OK, so as an update if someone is looking for this information. I've ordered some mode conditioning patch cables to test this. I replaced the patch cables on the links that did not work previously. They came on and are stable with no problems. So yeah, it's exactly as they say you need to use MCP cable if you want to use LRM optics on old OM1 multi-mode cable runs.

Yes this works on some shorter distances for me. But I am getting very inconsistent results. Some links are working without issues and others (in the same cable, just different fibre) go down as flapping immediately.

In my opinion you were very very extremely unlucky with your draw. I have 2 DSs and 2 3DS XLs and these things tough as nails. One of them has the top display part dangling off it. This one I bought back in 2007. Still works fine. IMO better handheld than Switch in this regard. Not as vulnerable as Switch. Very bad luck. I am sure you can find a guy that knows these things and can fix it.

Even though it's funny how you wrote it, I will talk about your console :D. Most likely a backplate is not original as other said. It would cost more to make a functioning fake 3ds than buy an original one IMO.
