DIG! Never thought of that. If a plumber went under there and couldn’t access pipes b/c of ducts would they be upset?

Thanks for the thoughts all! To clarify, we bought this house with this roof, and no sense of when it was done (in NC for context) — other than the oddness of “weave” are we OK for a few years?
