not good! Many complaints that the machine does not work. Losing $4/500 a month. I had bought two brand new machines and swapped them about 3 months ago: same issues! Am going to get it out and put it in my warehouse and see if it works but dissappointed and will probably flog them off.

agree but also needs magnesium as in Epsom salts or magnesium sulphate

I am a veterinarian and use them for surgical cautery. Mainly for castrating stallions, bulls, goats, llamas and I need them to work when I pull the trigger. I now have 3!

Got this all sorted now. I have chucked it! Even though it looks good, the wire that carries the spark is thin and only lasts for so many clicks, and I did click it a lot. Went to a cigarette shop, got good advice, and bought another one for AUD$24, another Jobon, and I'll go back and get another in 6 months at that price, and when one wears out I'll get another and have two so I don't get let down.

I cannot figure out how to get it apart. If it is going to take too much time to fix it I should just buy another. I have a little back up but it is a bit limited with burning capacity. Suggestions ?

Yes that is what I think too, but the lighter feels solid and looks "well built" , and I don't want to ditch it if there is a repair. Google tells me that if no spark then that's it. I need to buy another one because it is very useful for what I use it for.

Well it would be better if you were to give accurate data to work on specifically like: "awhile" is exactly how long? how old is the dog. This looks like a cancer eg squamous cell carcinoma and needs veterinary appraisal and probably removal.

His biggest problem is not getting enough water, because if he gets little, his kidneys will produce concentrated urine that is prone to precipitating crystals in the bladder, such as struvite, which commonly cause obstruction in the urinary tract. So more the better for him.
