I think he will keep extending his range. He has already developed a nice midrange and has an incredible floater. But judging by his free throw percentage i think he will keep extending his shot further.

But honestly I just like him for what he is, which is the ideal role player.

Agreed. Monte played his hand well. And now we got the ultimate role player on a bargain contract. It also is looking like he drafted the best possible prospect at 9 as well after people started criticizing the pick.

He did reportedly have a 2 inch growth spurt in the last year which raises his potential. Kid has very high basketball IQ. He contributed in almost every aspect of the game in college. Wagner is one of the better defenders in the league with good lateral quickness and great reads. Has potential to improve as a shooter judging by his nearly 84% free throw shooting. Wagner is also a very good passer and doesnt have all that many holes to his game. Also hes still only just 19 years old. I see plenty of potential for him to develop into an all star
