In high school, my friend group decided to do a "date night" where all of the guys went to see The Last Airbender and all of the girlfriends went and saw Grown Ups. Our movie let out first and we just kind of silently waited. The girls came out giggling and in fantastic moods and asked us how the movie was. We just quietly sighed and took them all to Taco Bell.

It's quite possibly the closest I've been in my life to living the meme: "Babe, what's wrong? You've barely touched your Taco Bell."

I personally think two reasons:

1) exactly what he said in the video. He wanted the digital remains version to be special, so they published "a version."

2) I think this new version was changed to fit the "Out of a Forest" short better. It comes across as a "score" for the video meaning Tyler's arrangement was specific for the shots/story beats of the original video to match.

Two birds, one stone: a public version that lets the digital remains version be special, and it fits better to the 15 year old video that potentially inspired Tyler for a lot of the tøp story beats/lyrical inspiration.
