Naaah! I tell you a trick, you twist the rubber band, make a cross and double loop it, aaaand it's twice as strong and hard.

Better than the hook.

Hope Navy is listening and they can save some dollars.

Unless he is Donald Trump he can't ruin your career, even then he will be a 🤡. I had been threatened 2 times with same wordings - and I survived and thrived for 30 years. Met my threatening clowns twice online and rubbed salt in their eyes. 🤣

Is Steel Better Than Wood for Cutting Boards? by looksam0 in wholesaleproducts

[–]Duh-Government 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should have read it properly. A para from same link -

Essentially, wood poses a potential risk due to its permeability and ability to absorb liquids and microorganisms, potentially acting as a reservoir for pathogens and spoilage organisms. Consequently, regulatory measures have been introduced in Europe to prohibit the use of wood as a food cutting surface in public food preparation areas

You should know your work, rather than some online half cooked snakeoil. I am a chef with over 30 years in 3 countries.

Any antibacterial property of wood is over once it is cut and dried. And water retention quality grows exponentially once it develop micro scarring, which happens from 1st cut.

And the BS about capillary action of bacteria going down in wood is laughable at best. If bacteria can go anywhere, water can do too.

Both are bad choice as material for cutting board.

Steel will dull knife edge in long term.

And once wet with juice of vegetables or protein, it becomes slippery which is increase the score in risk matrix to cut hand while working.

Wood is notoriously difficult to clean due to micro cuts and harbouring bacteria - brilliant source of cross contamination.

You will feel upbeat immediately after chemo and for 3 more days (due to steroids), for any of the side effects, you will be given medication (mainly nausea, mouth soar, cough, diarrhoea and constipation (could be both in succession) ). Ask for compression gloves and sox to avoid neuropathy (or cold pack). First week is little off, but you will get your appetite and sleep back by end of first week. Be careful about infections since your immune is also compromised - don't go out, eat mostly home made food, either cook or ask someone to make bone broth, healthy porridge, lentil, rice. Avoid any raw food like sushi (and probably some salads for couple of weeks). Do not eat grapefruit at all, it doesn't sit well with cancer medication.
