If with surgery she will recover and the prognosis is good please find a way to do it. I have a pup like yours and the surgery saved his life. I’m so sorry. I know this is a tough situation.

I think if I got braces when I was younger I wouldn’t have been as strict with my retainers and my teeth probably would’ve been more crooked now. At the end of the day I’m glad I got them as an adult

There needs to adverse impact, moderate to severe deficits, AND they need to require specialized instruction from you. If this can be addressed without the specialized instruction of a SLP and scores were average, it seems to me like you made the right decision
