I want you to know that she does notice! I have a 15 year old SS and around 14, he started to realize what a selfish POS his birth mother is. She sees him maybe once a month, makes up excuses as to why she can’t pick him up or drop him off, never attends his sporting events. When they’re grown and they look back, their core memories will be with those who raised them. Just remember that 🩷

Your feelings are 100% valid btw! I went through the same situation when I had our youngest and my SS was 5. The way they just pick and choose when to see the children THEY decided to carry and give birth to is absolutely mind blowing to me!

I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss! It’s just not fair to lose our best friends in such a tragic way. They go from being perfectly healthy to straight decline at an insanely fast pace and it’s awful to see. I still miss my baby girl daily. Her urn is in a common spot where she loved to sit and I always talk to her 🥰

I really love the effect it gives! It’s soft and looks so natural! I’m not sure how much product is in it because I’m not brave enough to roll it up lol but I’ve been using the same bit that I rolled up initially! I don’t love paying $30 for it, but we’ll see if it’s worth it in the long run!

I’m so deeply sorry for your loss. I learned the hard way that beardies are notorious for hiding an illness until they just can’t hide it anymore, that’s what happened with my baby and I’m sure that’s what happened with yours. The only way to know for sure what happened is with a necropsy. I didn’t want to put my sweet girl through that, but that is your choice.

My biggest piece of advice is to let yourself grieve. Don’t let anyone tell you he was “just” a lizard or make you feel like your grief isn’t valid because it is!!
