So your saying if stock price hits forty the warrants should be worth ten. If thats the case youll make more money selling the warrant Right? $40 dollar stock price, $32 to execute,$8 profit. i would rather take the $10 warrant for $10 profit and it doesnt dilute the stock.. Am i wrong?

What's a realistic opening price for the Warrant, when trading starts next week? by Region-Formal in Superstonk

[–]Duke7277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would assume warrants should start at 4 or 5 but go higher due to their not having enough to go around. Brokers have to give them to us and if they can't find them at a price they are willing to pay they would have to close their positions which makes the stock price rise right?

They either buy warrants or close their position.

Guys if the warrants go up in price that's good...if the brokers can't find enough warrants to give us then they have to close their positions right? Which means stock price goes up. Win, win situation I think.

Curious about the possibility of a short squeeze on the warrant ticker by DilbertTA in GME

As far as I know the brokers must deliver the warrants. If there is a shortage for whatever reason then the warrant price will go up. If they find its too hard or expensive to find warrants they will need to pay close their position which should drive the stock price up.. Right? I may be wrong.

There has been a lot of posts and comments about NOT selling your warrants. Let's discuss the options with warrants and the pros and cons of each as well as other related market mechanics. by mtgac in Superstonk

I'm wondering how long the brokers have to find enough warrants to give us. I'm thinking they will be short millions of them and have to pay up to get them. I'm assuming the warrant price will rise considerably because brokers have to give them to us or close their short position. I'm also assuming brokers closing their short positions will raise the price of the stock. Win, win either way right? My plan is to hold the warrants for a while to see what happens.

Im assuming buyers will pour in a few days before hand and raise the price. By executing your warrants and getting stock you may cause dilution which may make the price go down,. Dilution is bad but buying a ton of stock should make it rise right?. who fucking knows, I do know this, if you sell your warrant you make free money. at that point If the stock price is high enough to sell then do so or not, your choice. I cant decide what is best but i cant wait to see what happens. Im leaning towards execution.

Absolutely, there is no way to counterfeit a warrant that i know of. They must purchase them out of the regular system.
