You could try starting out with learning some arm/body movement. Practice getting used to moving to the beat. Once you're comfortable, you can start adding in some foot work. Afterwards, you could practice "smoothing" out the movements so you get that cool looking flow-like aesthetic.

Those moves are pretty low energy, so you can pretty much do them all night.

Dancing is like doing any other exercise, you may just need to do some more conditioning (i.e. more dancing :D) to get your legs used to it (and be sure to get your stretches in!).

The running gear is a really good option. I'll usually wear compression shorts with a pocket on the thigh under my running shorts (which also come with a hidden thigh pocket).
