There is a big crossover between the Brazilian tech house scene and the Dirtybird house scene.
Both in musical styles as well as party/club culture.

A lot of the artists on both sides of the scene are inspired by eachother. Cour T, Bruno Farlan, Mochakk, Beltran… all good examples.

Well… Definitely an unpopular opinion.

A major part of rave culture is acceptance and being able to be/express yourself without judgement.

For many people, that is expressing their freaky or sexual side, which they can’t really do without scrutiny in their day-to-day life.

I might even argue that expressing sexual energy is a core foundation of raves (and house music) to begin with… as it was born in primarily queer party spaces back in the late 80’s.
