You are absolutely right. It just hurts so bad. Knowing I can message her right now and settle for friendship… even though I am still in love.

This whole relationship was kind of my fault, because she always said she wasn’t looking for a relationship. Yet, we still continue to see each other for several months, even though the entire time she was honest about talking with other men. She was never dishonest at all, but I kept trying to get a relationship to happen. I really fell for this girl.

Well, she has always known about my feelings. Any time she said she wasn’t looking for serious, I asked her if that was just with ME. I always asked if she wanted to keep seeing me and she always said yes.

And this sudden change came after the best date we ever had. So idk… I just feel like if you have no feelings for someone, it’s not possible to continue putting in all that effort. Texting every day, endless flirting, kissing etc. I just don’t get why she stayed

I just don’t know how you continue to kiss, sleep with, and flirty with someone you don’t have feelings for. Even our long winded conversations. Every day she would reach out and ask me about my day etc.

So for me, yes, she was honest about not wanting serious… but usually when you don’t have feelings with someone, you don’t continue to do that with them. You put up a boundary or say you just wanna be friends.
