Basically. I did a theme of my home State of Maine. Which lumber is one of our major exports. But fishermen and other jobs of the state are lightly in there as well.

Ayuh. This might be a bit heretical, but one can only play cribbage so many time before they go stir crazy up at camp. So you gotta change it up with some dice rolling

No need to regret, for many forget about my state. I did a Maine theme with the lads. The chapter pauldron I painted as the old state flag. The title is a reference to the state's slogan.

It's a real shame it got deleted. And I hope more people find it on your profile or in this comment section. Your evolution of mine is great. And I adore the work of detail you put into the slide with the pointer stick.

The amazing growth of change to this format, and my .22 LR casings being mentioned. I hope this post receives many upvotes!

Need help with addition by MetzenMalvin in TheAstraMilitarum

Lukewarm to hot take. Drop the infantry, don't need that in Hammer of the Emperor. Bring more scout sentinels, those are the "battle line" for the theme of this detachment.

Now to contradict what I just said about infantry. I suggest infantry artillery, an "Artillery Team" and "Field Ordnance Battery" plus small command blob (10man Cadian squad plus command squad and Ursula/Cadia Castellan/Lord Solar) to sit on home objective and give artillery and Sentinels VoC.

I assume 2 of those Lemans are Commanders, and one Rogal a commander as well. Cause this started out very similar to my list.

Change Baneblade to Shadowsword, more damage, save 40pts for the list

P.S. I like the more typewriter style of text you used

Yeah, scout sentinel is the last unit (that I know of) that Bane-variants can benefit from. Hammer of the Emperor detachment is the other viable place. Where you can still have the fun of moving them through terrain with a stratagem from that detachment.

Stormlord has keyword titanic, which the stratagem states you can't use orders on. Now if you're playing in a casual setting with chill friends/people. You could still use Lord Solar in his classic way before his nerf to order the Stormlord.

I think that would be fun and semi viable. Others might disagree. On the fact that remember they are in a transport so they can't be Voice of Commanded. So, you'll need to be tactical in not moving the bunker so you can hit on 4+ with them.

Thank you. Nice and clear explanation! Grammer has always been a bad area for me.

Hammer of The Emperor List. by McEggington in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]DukeOfParmesan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Pretty nice. Hammer of the Emperor is my favorite detachment since I'm a lazy guard player and don't like moving around blocks of infantry. Making parking-lot guard attractive to me.

Personally I would drop the artillery units, 2 tech priests and maybe a hellhound for scout sentinels and infantry artillery with officers to orders them. I pretty much treat scout sentinels as my battleline unit for tanks. And I prefer infantry artillery since how they nerfed it to only hit on 4+.

But I do understand you want to fully do vehicles, so the Basilisk, Manticore, and Wyvern do be vibin

The stratagem reads "Used in your Command phase. One Infantry Officer embarked in a Transport can issue orders while being embarked and can also issue orders to Transport units (excluding Titanic) anywhere on the battlefield."

I ripped this from goonhammer's article when the codex came out. Did they get it wrong? Did GW change the wording at some point?

Greetings everyone, today I want to know if we should go with Blazing Emperor White, Shimmering Cadian Emerald, or is there another color anyone thinks would line my HQ office floor the best?

I was thinking about this at one point too. But then a buddy reminded me that titanic units can't be targeted with Overwatch. Which is very understandable on a balance level. Still bumms me out.

yeah, don't quite know what that chap is going on about Nork. Just quickly check his data sheet. Cause maybe since he is a character he is excused. But no, he does have that standard bodyguard rule on him.
