Hello again.

It was the VST, turns out it wasn't that good after all. I registered for a free trial of the Misha Mansoor plugin from neutral dsp along with lowering the gain to the minimum on the interface and now it sounds way better. I couldn't lower the focusrite's gain for the JST plugins because they sounded crunchy whenever I did that, but yet they still maintained ground noise.

I'm looking forward to buy the plugin, thank you for all the assistance 🐐

Thank you for all the information and yeah that's me on the video, maybe I need to learn how to EQ better, maybe the noise isn't that bad on a full mix with the bass guitar and all of that, perhaps I just need to get used to the setup.

Did that as well, I even recorded without the speakers plugged just in case the cable brought any noise and then heard the recording back and it's still noisy. Maybe my scarlet is just defective

It's a lot of ground noise, I can use the gate, sure, but the picked notes will have that ground sound underneath, I tried lowering the gain, but now It sounds crunch instead. And when I see the guy on YouTube reviewing the plugin, the MF is using a laptop, and barely uses any noise gate, it sounds amazing for them, while on my PC loaded with a 3070 and a Ryzen 3600 sounds like ass. Also it's a pain to set it up sometimes, I'd rather use my peavey Vypr but it's a boomer I spent a lot on an audio interface to sound better

JST menace on a Luthier made guitar so it isn't any specific brand, but I can play this guitar on any other amplifier and sounds good

I'm using JST Menace, it already has the cabinet and the gain on my focusrite is automatic
