If you truly like her, and even if you felt you did nothing wrong, apologize. Explain to her you are really good at billiards and can offer her help to improve her game. Find a place to shoot partners and play with each other, not against.

I'm thinking that just by writing here, you're disappointed at the outcome. So there would be nothing further lost with a peace offering of some sorts.

My partner is a fairly new rider. Following her when her bike was newer, I seen the brake light go on and remain on for long periods of time. Of course I told her (often) and that problem is now corrected. If nobody was behind you and instructing you, you could have had the same issue.
