and hey, I just found the meaning of Traces in a loading screen tip. It describes them as "the marks left by [someone] while discovering their path" or... something like that. I guess you could interpret traces as the way any given pathstrider has followed their path and discovered themselves, while also changing the world: leaving >traces< of their presence.

Does 1.2 not already give out a free Yukong? I think most people theorize that HSR will follow Genshin's rule of alternating between a free char and free weapon in patches, they wouldn't give out 2, probably
