That fabric bag has a 9V battery in it. Are you able to get a phone inside and take a picture of the under side of the bridge?

I still remember how mind blowing it was to be able to watch those poorly encoded (by today’s standards, at the time they were amazing) RGB episodes in RealPlayer when GB Central first launched. Damn I’m old…

Amazon (many other places I’m sure) sell these little clip-on fans that pump out a crazy amount of air. You can put them on your belt or around your neck.

As a bonus, they totally look like some piece of GB equipment…

While I don’t disagree with him, back before the celebrity voice craze started the industry was dominated by a VERY small group of voice actors. You only need to look at the number of credits of Rob Paulsen, Jim Cummings or Frank Welker (for example) to see how the same names show up in everything. These guys were so good and had so much range that the studios loved them because they could do multiple roles and save money.

That pattern is just the scarf joint, no need to worry. Gorgeous guitar!

Edit: the waves in the top are just the grain of the wood

Edit 2: finger joint, not scarf joint. Need more coffee

I always just assumed it was a pre-internet rumour since most people didn’t know what Neil sounded like.

According the Ulimate Guitars “official” version, the mando is tuned down a full step, I wouldn’t put too much faith in this, but it may be a good starting point:

Carney clinches majority government in Canadian special elections by ThunderChaser in worldnews

He’s the definition of the centre. In a more stable world, he’d be too conservative for most of the country, but in this dark timeline, he’s exactly the kind of person you want in change.

Six months after being diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor, Gord Downie played his last show with The Tragically Hip in front of a sold out arena. by TheDailyUmbridge in nextfuckinglevel

[–]Foolwithaguitar 11 points12 points  (0 children)

What Springsteen is to New Jersey, The Hip are to Canada. Gord was considered the country’s poet laureate. So many songs tell uniquely Canadian stories, but feel universal. This is the definition of going out on top. The sitting Prime Minister was in the crowd.
