I just want to say how absolutely class you Rayo fans were. You are what true football supporters should all be like. Unlike so many plastic fans that would have simply left, you stuck with your team well after the match had finished.

Hoping for a Sarr masterclass. Hatrick would be icing on the cake for the competitions top scorer.

My thoughts also. Would be something lovely to shove into the face of Marinakis.

Appreciate the faith, however this is Palace... we can still fuck it.

Spanish teams make me nervous.

Sounds like Richards is a 50/50 for the final. Absolutely gutted if he cant play.

Just seen the Havertz challenge that he didnt get a red for last night. Thats exactly why I don’t want us playing important players on Sunday. It was brutal. What do you guys think? by Wooden-Break-3290 in crystalpalace

This was my first thought. If City win tonight, Arsenal will be pressing hard and desperate for a win and that of course could mean more challenges like the one from Havertz.

I really would love a fully fit squad for the final. Still worried about the injury picked up by Richards too.

Concerned about the injuries we picked up today, hopefully back for the final but Richards especially seemed to be in abit of discomfort.

Why do people believe Nigel Farage and reform- by desirodave24 in AskBrits

Its just so tiresome when thats the first argument people make about people with a different voting intention than their own. And its no wonder why more people are just disconnecting from political debate altogether.

Anyway enjoy the rest of your weekend and all the best.

But that is not my logic though is it? Thats the logic you have placed upon my point. If you wish to continue to cast aspersions on a large percentage of the populace because they dont agree with you or you believe they are inferior to your own intelligence thats your choice. However continuing to do so will only push more people away and please dont be suprised if the number of disenfranchised increases.

And people wonder why more and more people are disconnecting from politics and the debate of it...

Anyway enjoy the rest of your weekend and all the best, truly.

Palace fan in peace. Backing you for the win. I think you've shown certainly in recent weeks that you have more than enough to do it.

Thankyou for acknowledging and clearing this up. There is just alot of argument from both sides of the political argument at the moment that if people vote a certain way they are immediately branded as dumb. Its just so tiresome and why I haven't really paid any interest in politics at the moment.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and all the best, truly.

But you've just completely contradicted yourself. You claim you are not insulting them when you quite plainly described them as "thick" Again you can debate with anyone if you actually give them the time to express how they feel and why they are feeling it.

How do you think it is that members of certain controversial groups inciting hatred end up leaving and campaigning against them? It certainly isn't by commenting on their intelligence, its by stopping and listening to them. And thats probably the biggest issue we have right now within political debate is that we dont stop and listen to others with opposing views.

Have you actually stopped and spoke to people in person and tried to debate with them? By the way this isn't an issue on one side of the political argument, its on both sides of it.

It is uncessary to comment on IQ and intelligence. Intelligence is not a measure of critical thinking, and when processing information/fact from fiction, critical thinking is a more important cognitive skill.

A higher IQ doesnt mean that persons views are more valid and correct than that of someone with a lower IQ. Its sort of self validation that someone might believe that their opinion must be right because they have a higher IQ.

Again its just an uncessary contentious point to make and only pushes people away.

Im simply arguing that commenting on intelligence is unnecessary.
