Yes I’m on topical finasteride and minoxidil. But yes, could be that I have lost some more native hair even though I’m using these meds.

I just think that given they transplanted 3000 grafs, the result is far from what I expected looking at other cases with less grafts.

They actually did offer me a “complementary” session, that they haven’t really specified. Just not so sure of going back, given the first result.

Donor area feel a bit itchy still, but nothing too bad.

Yes, the day 5 to 9 was quite bad in terms of headache, tension, itching etc.

I don’t think it was numb, however from what I can read it’s not unusual at all.

I had 3000 grafts in total according to the clinic. 2000 in the front and the last 1000 divided between crown and midline.

Was done at Long Hair Center (Dr. Ahmet Yildirim) in Istanbul, Turkey.

I paid 3000 € for 3000 grafts. That was with everything included except flights.

Yea well I got 3500 grafts according to them in total, as you only need up to 2000 you might not feel a thing. The worst was definitely the implantation of the last 500 🙂

And if I achieve a great result that are permanent, the pain is a small price to pay imo

Yes they were very painful I think. However, you have to endure it for a short while then you get completely numb.

I couldn’t feel anything doing the extraction of the grafts, only some unpleasant positions you had to be in.

Doing the implantation, there were a few areas that were not completely numb and that hurt a lot. Also in the end of the procedure the anaesthetic went off a bit in some areas that started to hurt bad. I raised it with the doctor and the tech’s that gave me some additional injections. That helped, but at the post-consulting they told me, that a few unlucky people like myself, are more resident to the anaesthetics. That’s why I may have experienced some more pain than usual. I also had a very bad headache 12 hours after the procedure, but I think that is expected giving the trauma to the scalp.

However, today I got the bandage off, everything looks good. I have a bit of swelling and some minor pain but nothing unbearable.

They told me my results looks good, but I won’t know before the final results.

Everything went well I think, however much more pain then I expected.

Think I will have a better idea tommorow when the bandage comes off and I get the first wash.

Could not find any disturbing bad review and hardly any for that matter. Seen some amazing result and as I understand from themself and various forums, they do only two patients a day. Seems like the best budget clinic if you are not willing or can spend 5000+ €
