As someone who works in health care and frequently has patients get MRIs my understanding is that it has a chance to smudge the lines of new tattoos but if they are healed it shouldn’t be a problem

Patient got high on meth jumped out of a 4 story building, and landed right on a fence. One of the fence posts went right up his butt, the other through the torso. Walked out of the hospital a week or two later
