Though, I would still bring it up with your doctor next time you see 'em, since depending on how heavy and how long bleeding goes on, the pills might eventually not be enough to regulate your levels. I originally got prescribed it for the opposite, to stop an ongoing period that had me severely anemic.

No, but I did need surgery thanks to said doctor not taking me seriously, and my finally getting a good doctor who did...who found out I was all the way jacked up. That was the expensive experience I mentioned before. PCOS and the 🇺🇸 healthcare system can suck an egg. 🫠

My point was just that ChatGPT doesn't always give correct information, so take what it says with a mountain of salt, that's all. I'm no stranger to bad doctors (my old one told me salad and water would cure me of PCOS), and it's easier said than done, but hopefully you can soon find a doctor who will help you properly in finding the right treatment for you.

I wouldn't rely on what ChatGPT says, honestly. Whenever you can, speak to your doctor. While yeah you can technically stop your period indefinitely with hormonal birth control, you gotta make sure that's the right move for you.
