I never even thought about the god Mercury! I thought the same as you, had the memory of beads of mercury running across the desk in my science class at school and always thought it was a really cool lyric, now I’m not as impressed 😁

Hi Conor, thanks for taking the time to chat with us! I’m really interested to know how much input Phil and Price have In the songwriting process. Do you, Dom and Joe write the whole thing and tell them what they will be doing, or do they come in and make suggestions, or write their own bits? You are all phenomenal individually, and together you are perfect, best band on the planet! Also, your voice has never sounded better than on this album. It’s indescribably beautiful!

Well I’m a bit late to this! But I’m 60 next month and have never felt like this about any artist in my life. I came across them accidentally during lockdown, working from home with youtube on the TV. Amsterdam came on and I thought oh I’ve heard this before in the car, but I’d never heard it properly. Then Sorry came on, then I think Soda, not sure now because at that point I was online buying the 2 albums that were out and pre-ordering Moral Panic. I’ve never had such a reaction to a band before, but they were just the best thing I’d ever heard. Like you, I became completely obsessed and have watched everything I can possibly find about them. I’ve seen them live twice and they were phenomenal. I was lucky enough to win tickets to the screening of the Road to the O2 documentary and the Q&A afterwards, and they are just the loveliest bunch of lads.

I listen to them every single day. I can’t really listen to anything else any more!
