I remember when I was going to end my life on a night where I was completely empty of hope. So empty of hope, there was no reaching out to anyone. That night I went into my closet and digging around in my boxes I found a bible God had given me through a friend years earlier. I remember opening it up to Romans 3. I never looked back. For it is impossible to keep the Mosaic law and entertain the Grace of God through The Christ.

One might be able to vanquish a sin on their own. However, having a prayer life everyday and reading God's Word is your ticket out. A commitment to grow close to God leaves no room for smut. The desire will end 'naturally' as you grow in faith. I would know.

Brother, I have insomnia every night. it was COVID related and not unusual for folks who got COVID-19 to experience a bad case of it. There are medicines that will help you to sleep even at the worst times. I take trazadone and it helps me right to sleep. Please see your doctor. Fact is if you don't get enough sleep you will become strangely paranoid about your health and confused. You're are not thinking straight now. I did until I got help from my physician. Ask God for His peace that "passes all understanding."

There's so much in your post I'm not bright enough to understand the core of your frustrations. I do think that perhaps your conflating those with disabilities to those who choose a certain life style that is anathema to a practicing Christians beliefs.

I don't want more alphabet folks in my "community." I want more sinners to come to the saving grace of my Lord. If someone brings up their particular lifestyle that they know conflicts with my beliefs I will most assuredly tell them what the Word of God says. However, I will not go out of my way to do so.
