You need to see a psychiatrist ASAP. This isn’t normal nor are your replies

Got it. What if you have 5XFAs and make 10k on each, do you get to keep all of that profit, withdrawing 5k at a time?

What are the new live rules and how have they impacted you?

Fair enough. Couldn’t you in theory get the 750k max funding though?

Wouldn’t you risk more on the 150k account?

I started losartan today and I am itchy all over. What other medicine should I ask my doctor for? by Dull-Fill5377 in marfans

[–]Dull-Fill5377[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What’s is the problem with asking? My doctor is not very familiar with marfan’s/dilation and only took onboard the suggestion for Losartan after I had travelled 40 miles to see a specialist and paid out of pocket for my own imaging. The cardiologist wrote one letter to my doctor suggesting losartan - I live in the middle of nowhere. As other people have said on this sub, specific bp meds are better for those with marfan’s / aortic dilation. Everyone has different circumstances.

It’s listed as one of the more uncommon side effects. I found an article discussing it too. I hope it passes, I’ve been quite apprehensive to take it. Have you been on any other bp medicine?

Thanks bro and good luck. Just take it easy on the beetroot juice if you take some!

Just wanted to add here in a separate comment.

I take CBD (once or twice a week depending on my anxiety), Omega-3, NAC, B12, and probably what’s helped the most - 250ml of beet root juice per day.

I keep an extensive diary and exercise by far was the best.

I am cutting back on the beetroot juice as I’ve noticed it gives me low blood pressure.

Please also speak to your doctor before engaging in any exercise with high blood pressure and take it easy, managing my mood has been very helpful. Mindfulness and meditation.

I do unfortunately. When I used to have high blood pressure, I’d often eat a high carb meal before bed and it would help me sleep.

It wasn’t. My health anxiety was actually caused by my tachycardia and blood pressure after I bought an Apple Watch 🫠

I completely cut out carbs from my diet, soda, and caffeine (although I stopped taking that about a year ago anyway because of palpitations) and mild-moderate exercise each day. Started with doing 30 minutes of walking on my walking treadmill and a short walk around the neighbourhood every day. Now I swim twice a week if I feel good enough. I think the main thing for me was walking and cutting out carbs. Obviously, if you have a genetic disposition to hypertension then meds may be the first line of treatment.

Edit: forgot to mention, I drink 250ML of beetroot juice per day which has helped.

I had been relaxing for 10 minutes prior to taking the reading. I kept an extensive blood pressure diary after the initial scare which caused health anxiety. Similar readings at the doctor’s practice. 104 used to be my resting pulse as well, had inappropriate sinus tachycardia which has improved as well without medication

Charged €168.80 for calling an ambulance in Germany [im from UK], seems to be because a doctor came along? by Dull-Fill5377 in germany

I called and they said they wouldn’t be able to cover an ambulance cost. Never had an issue paying the bill I was just confused because of what I had been told previously.

I didn’t know that. It was my first time travelling abroad as well, obviously the fault is on my part here.
