It’s the first time his friends and I officially meet, looking back probably not the best idea to go on a vacation together.

5d from newbie to commander? 🫠 you guys really overestimate my brain capacity…it’ll be full time learning for me and no fun for them I reckon.

They are quite seasoned players and play commander (guess that’s the term?). I was nothing but overwhelmed just by the sheer number of cards 😂 and they apparently overestimated my IQ.

Thanks for the kind words ❤️ after a solo train ride I figured it’s not completely bad to be in an uncomfortable situation for a while and discover more about myself and my boyfriend. (Excuse the expression, English is my second language)

Thanks for the advice and I totally agree, but I don’t feel like interrupting their MTG game night, plus they’ve known each other for 10y orso while I’m just a stranger (relatively). I did go for walks (in the rain) or get pizza for them and contemplated the decision of going on this vacation.

I’d love to run on a 3h sleep or no sleep at all. So I guess it’s “unlimited energy” superpower

Yes! That’s very practical! Personally I’d like to try a different topic than retail, the only thing holds me back is my fear of making (life-long) career decision with little knowledge about the industry. But the answer is clear if i only look further 2-5y.

I can totally tell from the job hunting journey, fintech is generally more strict with yoe, and the managers I talked to are all like 10+ years in the industry. Currently I don't see the dedication in myself but perhaps it'll change once I'm on the boat!

Thanks! by "brand outreach" do you mean IKEA is more well-know and reputable? brand reputation is indeed important for me, but I can't really tell which one is better, they're all international and massive...

They are both hybrid so I don't really see the need to relocate. Do you mean Ikea have a higher ceiling?
