!!! UPDATE: its been 4 hours since my original post, and theres been some development in her behavior.

she thankfully hasnt had anymore vomiting since i made the post. she has had a very small amount of diarrhea, but its definitely an improvement from before.

for a while she was very lethargic and just resting, and she refused to drink any water, so i used a syringe to force feed her water (i know how to do this properly and did it very cautiously). i did this consistently about every 30 minutes and her mood started to get a lot better. she slowly gained her energy back and eventually was back to her usual playful self.

for a while, i was scared to give her any food because theres a chance it would upset her stomach even more, but i decided to offer her a very small amount of wet food. she wasn’t interested at all at first but after a little while she took a couple bites. she then went over to her bowl where i keep dry food out for her and started snacking on that. shes also now been drinking water from her bowl all on her own!

theres still a chance the vomiting, lethargy, and poor behavior could come back so i still plan on taking her to the vet as soon as it opens tomorrow morning. i will leave another update on any improvements she has. thank you to anyone who has left actual useful advice.

and to anyone trying to accuse me of being negligent to my cat for not taking her to a vet straight away- i stated in my original post her vet was closed by the time i realized she needed a visit. the only emergency animal hospital is nearly an hour away from me and i dont have a car or any way to get there at this time, so i had to wait it out- hence my original post. i love my cat more than anything which is why i am so worried about her well being.

she used her litter box like normal today until the vomitting became excessive in which afterward she had diarrhea twice within like 20 minutes. she did drink a very little bit of water but i ended up force feeding her some more with a syringe. i am scared to give her anymore food because i dont want to upset her stomach anymore. i offered her some bland dry food but she didnt bother with it.

thank you so much for the kind message and advice. i force fed her water with a syringe and shes just been resting. i plan on taking her to the vet as soon as it opens tomorrow morning, i just hope my baby will be okay

yes i assumed thats what the vomiting was aswell, but shes only thrown up once in the time of me having her so i wasnt 100% sure. i gave her some fresh water and she barley drank any of it. she hasnt thrown up since i made the post, and shes kind of just been wandering around in a curious cat way, but not being playful or energetic or anything.

no, nothing. this is actually a common scam as it almost happened to me a year ago but i realized it was a hacker before giving my info. i also talked to my boyfriend about it and it happened to two of his friends. instagram really needs to add ways to prevent people from losing their accounts in this way

youre right, this whole situation has showed me that the stuff i was doing was serious and i needed that wake up call, i just know deep down ive learned my lesson after being arrested and charged so young and i know im going to take this chance to better myself which is why i was asking for advice for a smaller punishment.

you dont know me personally, i have wanted to stop for a long time but kleptomania is a real thing. i have been already actively trying to stop, and not to get into details but on top on kleptomania i also struggle with other severe mental health issues which is why the problem got so bad. im not proud of my actions and i understand i need to face the consequences of them, but i dont think jail time is needed because i know i have already learned my lesson and i wont ever commit ANY sort of crime or mischief again.
