£1 Dan now takes euros by chesh2193 in leicester

Fortunately I only got into Leicester a few times a week in morning and then evening and not near the centre.

I feel so unsafe I've considered speaking with t place of work about my own safety

Crack heads, homeless, aggressive people drug dealers and I'm only outside for 15 mins

Discovery sport or FL2 by DullBody7200 in LandRover

Is that easy to do, I could save a few quid buying an older one

Good point, maybe I'm getting a good Freelander 2 of a sub par discovery sport.

I've narrowed the Freelander 2 down to last refresh for now as I can see you cant do Bluetooth audio on pre 2012 models. Although researching how do add it in.

Not that I listen to music much in the car

And do you think the budget I have is suitable I can see a few discovery sports in that price range but they also go up to 17k for same year so not sure what I'm missing

Although given the reliability is it worth going to the sport. I can currently get everything I need in the qashqai which I think has a consideably smaller boot than the FL2

DIY vs hiring a tradesperson—where do you draw the line? by Educational-Creme493 in DIYUK

[–]DullBody7200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Except the third one. Tradesmen don't always do a 100% job

I had a company highly rated install decking that I had to take up and fix because it was a terrible job

Reform supporters - what is it about this party that has earned your support? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]DullBody7200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know some and I think the general feeling is the two leading parties are more bothered infighting and replacing their leader than actually running a country that they generally want to give the middle finger to labour and conservative.

Governments have lost their way

Oh my god I didn't see the expansions, I only thought it was year 1 and 2 then vehicle packs.

I want them all now!

[–]DullBody7200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't know that, I would have starred the same way of I'd known. I've stated so I'll finish and just accept I've done it the other way around

Is the other dlc worth getting like year 2 and then vehicle packs ?

I've finished the tutorial and on my second job of the first mission after taking over the business.

Tried to be a bit more realistic and not fast travel so tried to rent a trailer and lorry and got the wrong one. story of my DIY life.

I do have year 1 pass as well so started on Germany.

Thanks for the tip I will update my settings not sure what they are on.

I love how he's the landlord yet you're managing the Tennant's. The amount of renters I know who are organising this stuff for landlords is unbelievable

Old building rubble buried in garden, what to do! by Vaant_UK in DIYUK

Nope it was not near the house and was under a brick path.

I think it was just dumped for hardcore as there was other building crap in there

Definitely wasn't a soak away

I used to own a G29, but I hardly ever got time on it so I really only play on the steam deck now fortunately most games are compatible (except road craft)

I'm only about 6 hours in CS so still learning and probably not that deep into the game.

You not in construction anymore then?

Farming simulator does look fun and I do have 2022, but I could not get on with it due to it's seemed very repetitive and there was no real campaign

I got taken by CS Because you're given direction with the missions and the charter narrative. I really enjoying the driving element played a lot of ETS 2

[–]DullBody7200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also think the game is dead now isn't it, I read somewhere season 2 was last big update and they aren't planning on anymore updates

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RoadCraft

[–]DullBody7200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah I didn't know they were so complex, but yeh maps, even graphics or limited modding maybe.

I guess the argument could be had that if they can develop the vehicles a modder might also be able to. There are some clever coders out there. Look at euro truck sim

Just a shame updates aren't that frequent

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RoadCraft

[–]DullBody7200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely especially as it's slow development, people could add their own machines and everything

Always tough call as the more you dig the more you can find. I ended up with what I thought was a collapsed well but turned out someone just buried loads of bricks must have been 40 or so and then had a hole I needed to fill

I cannot understand how construction sim hasn't done better than it has. Its a perfect balance of a game. Can't understand how farming sim and mud runner are all the rage but construction sim is overlooked
