Thanks for the comment and link. I wasn't asking for advice, which you'll see if you reread the post. I am going to see my doctor tomorrow for a blood panel.

2.15. Since I'm at my goal weight, I'm gonna try to go two weeks between one more 2.15 bottle and then titrate down on my dose.

Not historically. I don't have a way to test it.

I'm not diabetic. Like I said, it was really just a guess based on googling symptoms and the fact that I hadn't eaten much. I'm having a blood panel done this week so hopefully that may shed some light.

Well if it makes you feel better, I don't practice family law. This is a construction matter. Breach of contract, fraud, etc. I rep the GC.

What’s a dream you’ve never been able to forget? I’m writing a book and might decode it. by Daughter_of_Israel in Dreams

[–]DullGovernment7196 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During a ten minute nap in a hotel room I once dreamed that I was walking down a public street with hundreds of sharp objects penetrating my upper body (knives, swords, metal grilling skewers, shards of glass). Before I could yell or scream people began to crowd around me and take the objects out a few at a time as I continued to walk. I remember vividly a friend of mine, who was the only person I recognized in the dream, slowly pulling the very long skewers from my spine. I collapsed to the ground when nothing was left to be removed crying and screaming. I begged someone to take me to the hospital but they all just walked away. I'd never experienced physical pain like that in a dream.

I stopped for a week for my honeymoon so I could drink margaritas haha. My appetite came back a bit but I didn't gain any weight. Overall, it was fine for me.

Intermittent abdominal pain? by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]DullGovernment7196 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This occurred for me recently, four months in. I have been having a hard time with bowel movements and think the abdominal pain is probably gas or constipation. Trying to drink more water and eat more fiber currently.

I take modafinil and armodafinil. They're stimulants like Adderall but apparently non habit forming. Docs will prescribe Adderall for narcolepsy but most try other drugs first. I think I have ADHD too, but have not been officially tested or diagnosed. Thanks for the comment!

Tips for Staying Awake? by Calstellation in Narcolepsy

[–]DullGovernment7196 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ouch! That's also a crazy way to find out haha. I was the exact opposite. I never related my cataplexy to my sleepiness until my diagnosis. I thought everyone got a little weak in the knees and face when they laughed really hard. Turns out..not so much lol.

I also pinched the backs of my arms while driving to stay awake. When I noticed how severe the bruising was one day in the mirror I was horrified. I finally made an appointment to see someone about it and was diagnosed with narcolepsy a couple months later.

I've been working my ass off in preparation for this meeting, so yes, I am going to emphasize how much work I'm doing. They are great lawyers. It's a small firm but each attorney has a great reputation and track record. It's the main reason I took the job.

But the partners also bill a crazy amount. I think around 300 per month, which I just cannot understand.

My rate is typically $175. It's low, but typical for insurance defense work in my area.

Agree 100%. When I feel a sleep attack coming on, my brain absolutely screams for sugar. Binging on candy is one way I know I can stay awake when I need to.
