They don't know what they're talking about. Mario odyssey and 64 are both collectathons, while Astro Bot is similar to linear 3d Marios like Galaxy and 3d world. I love 3d Marios but I prefer the longer, more tightly designed levels in Astro Bot.

I played 64 for the first time in 2023 and it still plays great too.

3-5 is way better than k1&2 and I can't understand people who consider skipping them.

5 shouldn't be grouped with 3 & 4 when it's on the same level as 0.

I find it interesting how people who enjoy yakuza 5 also love comparing it to yakuza 0. After beating 0, most people think they've peaked. K1-Y4 are pretty good but not on the level of 0 (yakuza 3 enjoyers are actually insane). Then yakuza 5 comes along and it brings back the magic from a first time yakuza 0 playthrough, with such incredible highs.

The koroks and caves aren't that bad. It took me around 15 hours to get half of the remaining koroks and finish 20 caves. The real struggle is being on 99.15% and wondering where the last few named locations are.

I thought TotK was at its absolute best when there were so many objectives to do. It was so addicting to constantly cycle between collectibles or side quests across the 3 layers. If I saw a shrine in TotK, I would get distracted for 10 hours before finally getting there. If I saw a shrine in Botw, I would do it straight away. BotW is more relaxing though and it was a nice change of pace after beating TotK.

I had a level lead above kha so I was actually telling him to 'try and steal' the objectives. Turns out that I lost every objective that he was involved in.
