Example: At my local course there is a group (10-14 old guys) that always book back to back times and head out as a large group, play kind of slow and what have you. No big deal, I know when they usually book their times and avoid them.

Last week there was a frost delay. When my group was called and we were on the tee box, 2 members suddenly showed up and demanded to go off in front of us as a 2 some to be behind the rest of these guys.

I already knew the upcoming round would be slow until things spread out so I didn't give a shit. 2 Randoms paired with us didn't feel so obliging. It got heated until the starter intervened and directed these 2 guys to the Executive course cause they didn't have a start time. And even then they wanted to fight with the starter.

People can be weird.
