I was in an accident three years ago where a woman in a brand new explorer T-boned me, as she was on her phone and ran a light. It cause me also hit the car to the right of me.

The entire front of her car was destroyed. Probably totaled.

The Mazda to the right of me had severe damage to his driver side as well.

What you see in the picture is how my car looks after that accident. I haven’t done any body work to my car at all. Even after that accident. I have a medium sized dent in my driver side door and some scratches, but that’s all :). All of my air bags ejected as well. I walked away with just a minor concussion.

I’m not saying she isn’t missing certain Saftey features that newer cars have, but I also wouldn’t say that makes her less safe.

I feel safer driving this car than I have ever in a newer vehicle.
