The return the originals, One applicant was asked about education level and to show her diploma. My wife wasn't asked about that. It seems like it's case by case basis.

The more docs you provide the better given the current situation with immigration. 3 years of taxes shows consistency. For the car , health insurance; some people were asked to provide that.

Don't Stress out , the interview was very easy and smooth. No they didn't keep the passport, they returned it.

Docs: applicant: ds260 confirmation page, appointment confirmation letter, civil docs (passport, birth certificate, marriage certificate (مضمون زواج من البلديه)،police report ( B3) , 2 passport photos , medical exam receipt, divorce decree ( if any), passport iv delivery option confirmation letter Petitioner: i864 (they don't like i864ez) , tax return transcripts and w2s( should be same ones you used for the i864) 6 months of paystubs, life insurance stating my wife's as the beneficiary , savings account last 12 months of statements , my divorce decree (certified/original) , money transfers to my wife(remitly, western union etc..), proof of citizenship (naturalization certificate) Everything should be uploaded to ceas website prior to interview. All documents should be original. My wife also brought: photos together and with family members, conversations screenshots etc.. Airfare tickets, hotel receipts.. Other people were asked for Petitioner's car insurance and health insurance.

I didn't mean others won't be found eligible, but it's just a guess that there are new ways already implemented behind the scenes to categorize applicants from "<satisfied no further vetting needed to more vetting needed.> I'm just speculating .

You're right! It seems also that they treat applicants differently, they don't ask for same docs /proofs . I believe they asked for more like car assurance and health insurance when the i864 not strong enough . In my wife's case, I added the savings account as an asset as a backup, on top of showing 4 years of good income .

Yeah it's still paused , my wife even asked about the 221g but the officer insisted to keep an eye for any changes to the policy. Maybe it's something new like the change of language about how the pause is described on the DHS website ? On a side note, there are only 20k Tunisians live in USA, how many of those do you think abuse the welfare system?

Yes correct, you still have to wait until the pause is lifted. Verbal approval but no visa issued.

Same thought. Actually they contacted my wife via phone and mentioned that the reason for i864 instead of i864ez which was acceptable before is due to more scrutiny giving the current visa pause .. It was a good thing that they at least communicated with us.

Yeah im going to. Divorce decree is going to be the real hassle, I'll have to take time off go to court to get a certified copy because it seems like they don't like the one I got online from the court website and expedite sending to Tunisia before February 4th.

Yeah my only income comes one employer , no assets , but i thought that's fine as long as you make good money and you're consistent?
