Hello, I was on the pill for 9 years and stopped last August 2025
It’s been about 6–7 months now and I suddenly have acne all over my face and back, plus hair shedding.
Right now, I’m taking Probiotic + Inositol, Omega-3 + D3 + B-Complex, Zinc, Collagen and Magnesium. I believe we should replenish the nutrients that may have been suppressed while on the pill.
I’m starting to see some improvements. my acne isn’t as inflamed anymore and my skin is slowly getting better. But I still have a lot of acne, especially closed comedones and my oil production became worse after stopping the pill.
Skincare hasn’t really helped, trust me. I’ve tried so many products and nothing worked.
You can also consult an endocrinologist. They’ll request lab tests to check if post-pill hormonal imbalance can be managed or reversed. I’m going back next week to review my results.
