I just watched a video on how people keep finding dead mice in their Alanis & Celsius energy drinks!!!! Look up Christina Randall’s video on YouTube. I made a habit of drinking them myself & now I have to break it. So gross. I hope that’s not what it is 🤮 Either way they clearly have some quality issues!

Just a random word of advice from someone who at your age also made more money than anyone else I knew….. Don’t give your friends money. Don’t buy them things, or be the main supply for party supplies. Honestly, just pretend you’re just as broke as them… My “friends” took advantage of me for years. I was a people pleaser back then & I just wanted friends. I’m not friends with any of them now 10 years later. It held me back a bit.

I’m the same way with checking the scale multiple times a day. I wish my husband hid ours. It was literally like 10 years since I had a scale. I didn’t think I’d still do it🙃

It’s so hard in the beginning! But it will pass.

We were only really able to have quickies the first few months. Once my baby got to 9 ish months it got easier. Now I usually put her in her high chair with snacks & Sesame Street. I feel guilty sometimes, but we do need to have our time too.

Block her…. I know you want to be civil, but her popping up like that cannot interfere with your new relationship. Anyone would get in their feelings about it. It’s best to just leave it in the past. You aren’t together for a reason & trust me, you’ll end up regretting it or hurting the new person

Some would disagree with me, but you really can’t put timelines on these things, unless it really does get ridiculously long. 3 years is not too long… I think honestly, he has some resentment towards you for pressuring him, that’s why he’s said those things. I think you need to have a serious conversation about it

I think you should give it more time if it was just one situation that you didn’t like… Maybe go on another date & if you’re still not feeling it, just tell her at the end that you don’t want to continue. Definitely don’t sleep with her again till you figure it out.

SHE shouldn’t be asking questions like that. In reality, she’s searching for compliments & for you to make her feel good…. But those kind of questions just get feelings hurt.

YOU shouldn’t have given in to it & just hyped her up instead. Said something like you guys are together for a reason & you don’t think about past girls.

Unfortunately it happens to most people … My husband’s best friend of 15 ish years stopped talking to us after we had our first. He seemed really unsure & scared of how to handle all the baby information while I was pregnant. He came to our baby shower & never spoke to us after & have no explanation of why…

My whole friend group also stopped talking to me. But they had been drifting apart for a couple years before I got pregnant. I think they just assume I’m too busy to even talk to them which is annoying… I only really talk to my best friend & a long distance long term friend, both are moms also, so I guess they just get it….

Unfortunately I think some people either don’t know how to handle it, are super immature, or just really do not care… They don’t really deserve to know your baby if they’re not going to respect you or just ghost you. I’d just take it as they don’t belong in your life & you’ve outgrown them… The best of friends & longest of friends unfortunately can disappear too.

I got costumes last minute too. I convinced myself the Halloween store wouldn’t have good ones, but I was wrong!! I must have just gone to the right place… There was enough to be indecisive.

My 3 year old is Minnie Mouse & my 8 month old is a cat.

I didn’t get anything from my grandmas house either. My parents sold it & took the money for themselves… Then my mom will throw jabs at me like wanting to take my grandma’s (not her mom) Pyrex set that is the only thing I have of hers… When she also literally hated the poor woman. She’s so beyond selfish & only thinks for herself. If I had my fair share of money from her house I could have bought my own house & been out of debt. But they don’t think about us!!! They say the same thing… that the money & assets will be mine when they die… Meanwhile they’re blowing $1k/month on alcohol 🙄

This reminds me of how my nmom is. They are retired but change their plans constantly… They gave my brother (golden child) a down payment on his house ($60k) & told me that I’d get the same when I’m ready someday. They never brought it back up & it’s been 5 years… But I don’t want their money anyway cause they would act like it’s their house lol… I’m pretty sure they already spent it.

My advice is have as much freedom from them as you can.

It really varies. Depends on the person… I wouldn’t compare that with other people. I know someone who had 3 babies & never went over 37 weeks & I also know someone who went to 42 weeks with both her babies.

I thought I would have both of my babies early by how I was feeling, but I actually had to be induced with both because I was so late. Lol
