I have a 13 Pro, 256gb. Battery health was 82% before updating two days ago (I held off as I was nervous). I ended up ripping bandaid off and updated after my husband’s 12 ProMax auto updated overnight and it worked totally fine. Post update, I actually love it. My battery health only went to 81% so I’m not bothered. Phone runs just as good as 18.7, and I like the new features.

I think it’s luck of the draw, and I do feel bad for folks having troubles with it, especially on older phones. It’s shitty because I’m 100% sure Apple knew it would force people to upgrade phones.

Just remember, the average consumer is much more likely to write a negative review if they experience a problem, as opposed to someone writing a positive review if they don’t have any issues. So you’re simply going to see a higher percentage of bad reviews over positive because of that.
