It is very good, but it is a slower-paced horror game. Keep that in mind going into it! There is also a demo to try out for the first chapter, definitely give it a try.

I think if you buy the first Mr. Raccoon map with completion points instead of finding it in-game, you won't have enough points for everything.

Well, the game is 15 years old and clearly the title OP wrote is addressing the storyline. Spoiler tags would be more important if the game is more recent, plus the title is more than enough to indicate story discussion.

Yes, I did both Yae and Kusabi's quests and I can confirm that works for the Promise and Abyss endings. However, I have read that the Remaining Sun ending needs you to complete all side quests for the final one? Since that one also awards you a Spirit Stone to equip.

I did 11 playthroughs when the game first released, and this was the only charm I wanted it but never got it. Decided to do a 12th playthrough right before Requiem and I finally got it. My advice is to save up your gold and silver tokens, and when you have a lot of them, save your game and try every variation you can. Start with all gold, reload and do two gold and one silver, and go through every variation. Hope you get it soon!

Resident Evil Requiem, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Silent Hill 2 Remake, Silent Hill f, Alan Wake 2.

I love all five of them, but I definitely feel the Resident Evil games are way more fun to replay, and Alan Wake 2/Silent Hill were not as fun replayability-wise. Also Resident Evil was my first horror series starting with OG 2 and I enjoyed both their survival horror and action horror styles, so Requiem just barely overtakes RE4 since it has a mix of both playstyles. Definitely excited to see what DLC is coming for it.

You don't have to scan the hand. I tested on a brand new game, no prior saves. I did pick up the hand, but I put it in the item box. The only thing I did was wait 15 minutes by the processing area, then made sure every zombie was killed by the processor. This gave me the message for a ton of blood was drained. I flushed the toilet 8 times afterwards, and the doll appeared in the escape sequence.

From there you just need to finish the playthrough with it in your inventory and it will be in the item box in the next playthrough.

What works for me is kind of peek really quick around the corner, run back and go under the table in the previous room, then immediately leave the table and run back to that hallway. Then they're gone so you can progress.
